Not such a great friend

Today, I was looking at my best friend because I zoned out, I then turned around to look at my dog. When I looked back, he was on one knee, saying that, “This is terrible timing but I’ve always loved you, will you marry me?” Two days before my wedding with my fiancé. FML

Good thing your dog was there. You could have turned to it to help with your decision. Dogs give great advice.

Poor execution but good for him to go for it. I've known to many people who regret not trying and end up settling.

According to how you wrote your post it seems that under other conditions it's not something you would immediately say no to. and that the FML is mainly about putting you in an unsure position 2 days before getting married. It's true that it's very bad timing, but two days after is even worse.
