Today, my tattoo artist boyfriend of five months gave me my first tattoo in celebration of my 18th birthday. It was supposed to be a heart with my name in script. He spelled my name wrong. FML

I agree with #4, thats some sort of ego when you get your own name tattooed on your arm.

Why would you get your name tattooed on you? Just in case you forget it? And if you're boyfriend doesn't know how to spell your name after five months, then you should get rid of him. Wow, get some sense.

Dude you should have check in the first place but Jesus **** he should know by now how to spell your name it's been how long??? If you have a short name that is not too hard to spell I believe that calls for a swift hit to the balls :P

#53, ok seriously there was really no need for a friggin grammar lessen that was probably the most pointless fml comment that you could have done, why the hell would you correct the misspellings and stuff on another persons comment? Must not have a life, it seems.

Oops, sorry #53, I meant LESSON, thought I would correct that before you went ahead and corrected it for me. :P

I know im really late in commenting, but thats exactly why i dont have a tattoo yet. When i get it, it will be done by a professional, i will have designed it myself, and i will make sure the person knows what the hell they are doing. I dont want a tattoo i regret

even pros make mistakes. then there's also the chance that you can be allergic to ink and it won't look just right... But as for the regret aspect, just remember : at one point in your life its EXACTLY what you wanted. it will tell the story of who you were at that point

Ego much lol just kidding everyone else said it :) so yeah your name could be long and hard to spell. At least he got the name right.

Sorry OP, ydi. When ever you get a tattoo with words, especially a name, you always have to double check the spelling on the stencil before the artist comes near you with the ink, whether or not they are your partner.
